Ryan Adams & the Cardinals new Lost Highway album, CARDINOLOGY is the fourth official release from the group following Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Lights and the 7 song EP Follow The Lights. The band was also featured on the Adams produced Willie Nelson record, Songbird as well as his 2007 solo billed release Easy Tiger. The set was recorded at New York's Electric Lady by the band with Tom Schick.

''Cardinology'' is the tenth studio album by Ryan Adams, and his fifth album with The Cardinals, released on October 28, 2008. This album completes Adams' contract with Lost Highway.
A vinyl version includes a bonus 7", a comic book and a digital download code. The album's first single, "Fix It", was released on vinyl and online on September 23, 2008.
Many of the early demos for ''Cardinology'' were uploaded onto Adams' YouTube account "Horion74" in late 2007 and early 2008.
The album was placed at #14 on ''Rolling Stones 50 Best Albums of 2008 list. The magazine also placed "Magick" at #13 on the 100 Best Singles of 2008 list.. The album has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. - Wikipedia
