Once all of those "classic alternative" stations began peppering the FM landscape a few years ago, Echo and the Bunnymen hippity-hopped onto just about every year-end shedfest. Even though few of us can name, say, a New Order or Psychedelic Furs song written in this century, new wave is now wave again, so you can't blame EATB for trying.
